SUMMARY:
Plan, organize, coordinate and manage a team which will provide preventative and corrective maintenance services in order to ensure operational efficiency, effectiveness and uptime of the plant and equipment whilst adhering to H&S regulations. Oversee the management of facilities.POSITION INFO:My client, an onshore natural gas explorer, based in Virginia Free State is looking for an experienced, highly competent Maintenance Manager. A Self-starter, with excellent communication skills and proven track record in leading a team. Trained and skilled with over 7 years experience working in Oil, Gas or Chemical. Must take ownership, accountability, and have a sense of urgency.MINIMUM AND NON-NEGIOTIABLE REQUIREMENTS:
- BTech Degree
- GCC Factories Certification - completed
- 7 years CURRENT experience in Oil, Gas or Chemical plant environment
- Good Business Acumen (i.e. generation of profit and loss, margin)
- Excellent Maintenance Systems, Processes and Procedures
- Excellent Health and Safety and related regulatory frameworks
- Relevant management software (MaintainX)
- Leading a Team
- Strategic Planning and Budgeting
