Maintenance Manager | Luxury Safari Camp | Timbavati

Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking a hands-on and experienced Maintenance Manager to join a luxury safari camp in the heart of the Timbavati Private Game Reserve. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual with a strong technical background and a passion for maintaining high standards in a remote, bush-based environment.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum 5 years' experience in a maintenance management or senior maintenance role
Proven expertise in electrical systems, solar power, plumbing, and general property upkeep
Basic construction and repair skills
Strong project management and time management abilities
Physically fit and comfortable working in a remote and outdoor environment
Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively with other departments
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct preventative and routine maintenance throughout the property
Respond promptly to urgent repairs and troubleshoot technical issues
Oversee and manage small construction or repair projects
Monitor and maintain solar and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance
Ensure plumbing and water systems are functioning efficiently
Manage maintenance inventory, monitor stock levels, and place orders as required
Coordinate closely with other departments to support operational efficiency
Uphold safety protocols and ensure all systems and facilities comply with health and safety regulations
