Maintenance Manager
Job Description
A well-established South African nursery specialising in the production of high-quality forestry and vegetable plants is seeking a disciplined, motivated, and technically competent Maintenance Manager to join its KwaZulu-Natal team.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and manage a fleet of delivery vehicles, including attending to breakdowns
Maintain all nursery vehicles, machinery, and equipment
Provide technical backup and support to KwaZulu-Natal clients
Manage the workshop, tools, and staff within the maintenance department
Fabricate nursery equipment as required
Plan and manage nursery construction and infrastructure projects
Implement, manage, and maintain ISO 9001 maintenance systems and records
Candidate Requirements
Honest, reliable, and hardworking with a strong sense of responsibility
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Positive, hands-on "get the job done" attitude and ability to work effectively within a team
Diesel mechanic and welding qualifications will be advantageous
Fluent in English and isiZulu
Computer literate
