Job Duties:
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures, policies and standards
- Manage a team of maintenance staff and contractors
- Plan and oversee all maintenance activities including repairs, installations, and inspections
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Monitor equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs
- Manage maintenance budgets and control costs
- Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance work
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role
- Knowledge of maintenance processes and techniques
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Relevant qualifications in Engineering or related field
Degree in Engineering or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in a maintenance management role
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Budget management skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Professional certification in Maintenance Management
- Experience in the travel, leisure, tourism, or hospitality industry
This role involves working in an office environment as well as on-site visits to oversee maintenance activities. Some travel may be required.
