Job Description
Join an FMCG team as a Maintenance Assistant in the Western Cape!
Youll perform maintenance inspections, repairing mechanical and electrical breakdowns in buildings, machinery, and treatment plants, and assisting with the planning and execution of a preventative maintenance program. Responsibilities also include disassembling, replacing, and reassembling defective / worn mechanical and electrical equipment.
We require a Maintenance Assistant with Matric and preferably a Millwright or Fitter and Turner Trade Test. Candidates should have in-depth knowledge of the mechanical and electrical workings of machinery / equipment, with 1 - 3 years experience in a production facility or a similar environment. Experience with CMMS is advantageous. Must be fluent in Afrikaans and English.
