Performs skilled mechanical maintenance work, planning and scheduling daily and weekly maintenance activities.
Assist in Maintenance of Mining Equipment.
Use Mechanical Engineering tools and techniques to measure and evaluate processes, operations, work methods, layouts and flow.
Design and create proposals for improved systems, layouts and work methods as well as present these to management.
Communication with manager/supervisor daily, weekly and monthly.
Ensure the best health and safety practices are observed and identify any potential contraventions
Ensuring all company control procedures are adhered too.
Root cause analysis must be performed to find out the cause of breakdowns, and a COMPONENT FAILURE REGISTER must be compiled to assist in developing a preventative maintenance plan.
Perform any ad-hoc duties as set out by your manager

Minimum Grade 12.
Mechanical Engineering Diploma
Valid drivers license will be an advantage.
A minimum of 2 years experience with Mobile crushers and static plant equipment.
A working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Willing to work overtime when required.
Basic communication skills (written and oral).
Ability to work in a team
