TFG Logistics Division is looking for a dynamic Maintenance and Automation Support Manager to oversee and optimize our maintenance operations across all Distribution Centres (DCs) nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all scheduled and breakdown maintenance activities across all DCs, ensuring minimal disruption to our fast-paced operations.
• Create and manage support, maintenance and automation budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.
• Develop and lead a team of skilled technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
• Implement and manage advanced mechanical and conveyor automation systems to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to maintenance and automation.

Requirements:

• Education: Degree in Mechatronics or a related field.
• Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in mechanical and conveyor automation within logistics or a similar environment.
• Proven track record in people management, with the ability to lead and develop a diverse team.
• Electrical experience with single-phase and three-phase systems.
• Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens, Rockwell, and Beckhoff).
• Familiarity with high-level programming languages.
• Knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP and SSH.
• Additional Skills:

• Strong budgeting and financial management capabilities.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure.
• Project management expertise.
• Other Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with the ability to travel up to 20% of the time

About the Team: Our logistics team consists of transport and process managers, engineers, pickers, packers and hyster drivers who are responsible for organising the storage and distribution of goods. They ensure cost-effective and efficient last mile fulfilment and by working together they ensure everything runs smoothly.
