Supervise loading/offloading of product from delivery vehicles, and ensure product is correctly stacked and that strict stock control measures are enforced and maintaining the explosives delivery fleet in order to meet customers' needs.
Required outputs: functional
- Ensure correct orders are loaded as listed on the generated declaration of dangerous goods document by magazine master.
- Assist magazine master with stock replenishing.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering OTIF simultaneously building AECI's good image to the customers.
- Ensure loading of explosives is in accordance with Explosives Act and Regulations.
- Ensure that monthly CIE checks on all Explosive Delivery vehicles are carried out and signed for inspection.
- Maintaining good housekeeping of all Delivery vehicles and ensuring that vehicle receive the required maintenances.
- To maintain vehicle records in the LDV's (Orange Folder).
- Grade 12
- Valid Code C1 or EC drivers' licence with valid PrPD
- The applicants must be able to obtain a Red Ticket
- Basic stock control or similar experience would be a recommendation.
- Must be able to obtain First Aid and Fire Fighting Certificates.
- Must be able to pass Psychomotor assessment (Dover symbol A)
- Possession of a valid Magazine Masters' Certificate
