SIG Machine Operator - Glass Processing Industry

An exciting opportunity exists within our Processing Department for an assertive, self-motivated individual to join our team as a

SIG Machine Operator

. This is an excellent role for someone who thrives in a manufacturing environment and has the technical know-how to keep operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor SIG machinery in the glass processing department. Ensure production targets and quality standards are consistently met. Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment. Follow health & safety standards at all times. Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to optimize production efficiency.

Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 (Matric) or higher qualification. Glass knowledge or experience in the glass industry is highly advantageous. 3-5 years' experience in a manufacturing or processing facility. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Physically fit and able to perform job functions. Computer literate (basic technical knowledge required). Willing and able to work shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed. Reliable own transport is essential.
