Job Description

Our Client is an established client within the Marine Sector, with multiple offices globally supplying Shipowners and traders with marine fuels on a global scale. The business is currently seeking a senior lubricants sales manager to develop business across the African continent.
Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist and manage trades within the African Continent handling enquiries within the region (West Africa, South Africa, Sub Sahara and surrounding countries).
• Negotiating quotes with shipowners and traders within the shipping industry in order to win company business via back to back and physical supply deals.
• Responsible for managing and developing relations with suppliers of lubricants and marine oil within your region and delegated ports.
• Actively seek and facilitate spot business with new and potential customers.
• Ensure the team has relevant compliance and quality assurance procedures in place, handling client records.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience within an international trading house, trading lubricants and marine oil.
• Proven ability to win and develop new business within the lubricants industry either back to back trading or physical supply.
• Key knowledge of market trends and products within African ports.
• Proven ability to work in a quick paced, high volume working environment whilst managing and implementing business strategies.
• Experience in working for one of the major marine oil or lubricants suppliers is advantages.
