Job Title: Medical Intern - L'Oreal Dermatological Beauty

Summary:
The Medical Intern will provide comprehensive support to the Medical team across various functions, contributing to the efficient execution of medical detailing plans, event organization, administrative tasks, budget monitoring, and training initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in the medical affairs field within a leading dermatological beauty company.
Key Responsibilities:

• Medical Detailing Plan Coordination:

• Coordinate medical detailing plan meetings, including scheduling, logistics, and communication with participants.
• Manage the printing and distribution of materials to field teams, ensuring timely delivery and sufficient stock.
• Facilitate communication between headquarters and field teams, addressing operational questions, material requests, and other queries.
• Collaborate closely with the Junior Medical Communication Manager to ensure seamless execution of the detailing plan.

• Medical Event Organization:

• Support the planning and execution of regional and national medical events, including congresses, symposia, webinars, round tables, and advisory boards.
• Assist with event logistics, such as venue selection, registration, material preparation, and on-site support.
• Collaborate closely with the Junior Medical Relations Manager to ensure successful event delivery.

• Administrative Support:

• Provide administrative assistance to the medical detailing team and regional managers, including scheduling, travel arrangements, and expense reports.
• Support various initiatives led by regional managers, ensuring smooth operations and efficient workflow.

• Medical Budget Monitoring:

• Assist in monitoring the medical budget, ensuring compliance with purchase orders (POs) and tracking healthcare professional (HCP) interactions.
• Support the team in maintaining accurate records and reporting on budget allocation.

• Training Support:

• Contribute to the refinement of training materials, ensuring accuracy and relevance of content.
• Assist in organizing training sessions, including booking venues, managing invitations, and preparing materials.
• Provide support for the WhatsApp Takealot Advice channel, responding to inquiries and escalating complex issues as needed.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a scientific or medical degree or a related scientific field (e.g., PhD, Pharmacy, Pharmacology).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A strong interest in dermatology and skincare is a plus.
