Logistics Supervisor Supply Chain
Durban - KwaZulu Natal - South Africa
Were recruiting on behalf of a national manufacturing business for an experienced Logistics Supervisor to take ownership of inbound and outbound operations, ensuring that incoming raw materials are efficiently managed on site.
This is a hands-on role where youll oversee materials, despatch, stock control, ensuring production runs smoothly, and customers receive orders on time, every time.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inbound raw materials and outbound finished goods
- Oversee despatch, documentation, and stock accuracy
- Lead and motivate the logistics team on site
- Coordinate stock takes and cycle counts
- Ensure safe, efficient loading and movement of materials
- Drive continuous improvement and process efficiency
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety, and quality
- Relevant qualification in Supply Chain or Logistics,
- Min 5 years experience in logistics within manufacturing
- Strong understanding of inbound, outbound, and stock control processes
- Proven team leadership and problem-solving skills
- Key leadership role with real operational impact
- Fast-paced, production-driven environment
