Job Summary Can You...?:
- Plan, manage, and coordinate all logistics, transportation, and distribution activities.
- Develop strategies to optimise supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage relationships with transporters, warehouses, and third-party logistics providers.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock control and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations across all logistics operations.
- Lead, coach, and develop the logistics team to achieve operational excellence.
- Analyse data and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of transport regulations, customs, and inventory management systems.
- Proficiency in ERP/logistics management software (e.g., SAP, Syspro, and Oracle).
- An analytical mind with strong problem-solving abilities.
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
