Job Advert Summary
An exciting entry level position has become available to control activities in the Raw Material and final material handling facilities in order to ensure that all tasks are performed in a safe manner specified and that all quality and output of product meet set specifications to motivate and train the staff in order to ensure that SOC and SHE requirements procedures are implemented.
Minimum Requirements
Matric (Grade 12) with Maths & Science 2 - 3 years production experience in a manufacturing environment beneficial
Duties & Responsibilities
Follows Operating Discipline principles, procedures and practices to ensure safe and efficient operation of assigned plant areas. Operates and field checks process equipment. Monitor process conditions, equipment and control systems. Performs tasks assigned to operations. Ensures operational activities and process performance are aligned with Plant and business goals. Uses trouble shooting skills to resolve process related deviations and problems. As required, initiates and participates in Root Cause Investigations. Uses process knowledge and skills to make improvements in plant performance and Operating discipline * Responsible for maintaining the standards in the assigned plant areas.
