Job Description


Your TasksJob PurposeExecute logistics operations involving 3/4PL providers, including inbound, warehousing, and transportation, to ensure optimal stock availability and customer delivery at the best cost. Manage LSP relationships, drive performance, and resolve customer logistics claims.Principal Accountabilities1) Operational Execution
2) Ensure 3PLs deliver inbound, warehousing, outbound, and reverse logistics as per BDF standards and customer requirements.Inbound Logistics
1) Manage relationships and communication with designated LSPs for shipping/airfreight.
2) Coordinate Freight Forwarding & Clearing Agents for sea and air freight.
3) Ensure timely, accurate shipping info (e.g., ETA, port updates).
4) Resolve daily queries and lead service provider meetings.Warehousing
1) Oversee warehouse LSPs and communication.
2) Monitor daily warehouse capacity and address over/under-capacity.
3) Manage IDT (inter-depot transfers): booking, planning, PO/outbound communication, and issue resolution.
4) Lead weekly meetings with LSPs; coordinate with 3PM suppliers for rework logistics.
5) Address stock discrepancies; ensure physical destruction of damaged stock.
6) Report ERP/LSP system delays; support stock takes and month/quarter-end close activities.Secondary Transportation
1) Manage outbound logistics to customers (local/cross-border).
2) Address delivery exceptions and record service failures.
3) Monitor LSP performance and lead operational reviews.Reverse Logistics & Claims Management
1) Manage returns and reverse logistics with Claims Co-Ordinator.
2) Ensure daily clearing of return locations and accurate SAP interface updates.
3) Oversee claims processes with 3PL, Finance, and customers.
4) Investigate claims issues and ensure correct POD debriefing.Reporting
1) Monitor, analyze, and drive 3PL KPI/PI performance.
2) Validate and input KPI/PI data; support monthly dashboard publication.
3) Authorize 3PL invoices and itemized billing.
4) Ensure pricing and billing align with agreed frameworks.
5) Deliver customer service KPIs to support performance targets.Continuous Improvement
1) Identify and implement process improvements across inbound, warehouse, IDT, and outbound operations.
2) Partner with LSPs to enhance efficiency and service.
3) Ensure sustainability of improvements and compliance with internal and global BDF guidelines.Stakeholder Management
1) Coordinate logistics-related decisions and updates across LSPs and internal stakeholders.
2) Promote supply chain collaboration to enhance service and process efficiency.
3) Lead digitalization and automation initiatives in alignment with Care+ strategy.
4) Engage in regional/global discussions for ongoing improvement opportunities.Your Profile1) Education -University or similar Bachelor's degree - ideally in Supply Chain2) Experience - Min. 1 years' work experience - ideally in Logistics operations and/or other Supply chain operational roles
3) Understanding of Logistics principles and processes and working with 3/4PL will be advantageousSkills
1) Computer literate i.e. proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Power point)
2) Good knowledge and proficiency in SAP (ideally LE, SD & MM), SAP Business Warehouse, Microsoft OfficeAbilities
1) High level of attention to detail, data integrity and ability to analyze and create key insight
2) High degree of motivation, initiative, problem solving and proactive thinking
3) Excellent communication (oral/written) and interpersonal skills
