Responsibilities
- Develop logistics goals and strategies for maximizing productivity
- Manage the transportation of goods from one location to another
- Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers and customers to ensure seamless delivery of goods
- Ensure compliance with regulations governing the transportation of goods
- Manage budgets and allocate resources for transport and logistics
- Oversee the hiring and training of personnel for logistics duties
- Maintain accurate records of all transportation and logistics activities
- Bachelor's degree in logistics or supply chain management
- 5+ years of experience in logistics management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Familiarity with logistics software programs
- Knowledge of local and international transportation laws and regulations
- Experience in budget management and cost control
