A dynamic and fast-growing company in the manufacturing and distribution sector is looking for an experienced and motivated Head of Logistics to set up and lead a new logistics department. This is your chance to build systems from the ground up, manage a small existing team, and create a professional logistics function that supports the company's ambitious growth plans -- both locally and cross-border.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design and establish the full logistics function: Inventory, warehousing, local deliveries, and exports.
• Take ownership of 4 storerooms at various locations, building a centralized and streamlined operation.
• Oversee and improve inventory control, warehouse organization, and stock visibility.
• Manage and support a team of 3 staff (2 drivers and 1 storeman).
• Coordinate cross-border shipments, ensuring smooth customs and delivery processes.
• Optimize last-mile delivery, route planning, and scheduling.
• Introduce or improve systems, SOPs, and reporting, to monitor logistics KPIs and reduce costs.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• A relevant qualification in Logistics / Supply Chain / Operations (Diploma or Degree preferred).
• 5-8 years' experience in logistics, with at least 2+ years in a management or supervisory role.
• Proven ability to set up or improve logistics functions in a hands-on environment.
• Knowledge of cross-border logistics and customs processes.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills -- you're comfortable both on the floor and in strategy meetings.
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with logistics or inventory software is a bonus.
• A valid driver's license.
