Job Description
You will be joining:
Our client, a Waste Management company is looking for a Logistics Manager to join their team to ensure all vehicles are maintained and maximise productivity of the vehicles.
Your role:
- Ensure all vehicles and trailers are maintained
- Improve productivity in all vehicles
- Monitor fuel usage
- Reduce costs and maximise profits
- Book loads
- Toolbox talks with drivers and assistants
- Liaise with fleet controller
- Ensure appropriate stock of bins are available at all times
- Report customer complaints
- Check all route sheets
- Brief drivers daily
- Ensure all booked loads are completed
- Investigate incidences or accidents
- Ensure drivers are trained to deal with hazardous materials
- Matric
- Degree/ Diploma in Road Transport/ Logistics Management
- 5 years' experience in Transport/Logistics or Fleet Management
- Valid drivers license & own vehicle (code 14)
- Experience in Hazardous good handling
- Warm and Friendly environment
- Ability to work in a team
