Logistics Manager Manufacturing Industry
Location: Springs
Qualifications:
Matric and BCom in Industrial Engineering or Logistics Management.
Knowledge & Skills:
Logistics, supply chain, warehousing, transport management.
SAP (SD, PP, MM), MS Office, Power BI.
HR, finance, contracts, quality management, project management.
Strong leadership, planning, negotiation, problem-solving, and CI/WCM exposure.
Experience:
8 to 10 years in operational management (supply chain/manufacturing).
5 years general management in logistics/manufacturing.
Experience across warehouse, transport, planning, procurement.
Exposure to WCM, CI projects, and Six Sigma.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop warehouse and transport teams.
Improve systems, processes, packaging, equipment, and overall efficiency.
Manage inventory, distribution, tenants, and on-time operational/financial reporting.
Drive continuous improvement and world-class performance standards.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9000 and all safety legislation (LRA, OSH, Road Traffic Act).
Develop budgets, control costs, and manage 3-year Capex planning.
Support new facility setups, layouts, material handling, and staff training.
