The main purpose of the Logistics Manager is to optimize the movement of goods, materials, and information through the supply chain to meet customer demands efficiently, reduce costs, and ensure that all operations are conducted legally and in accordance with quality standards.
Reporting into the Logistics Director, the Logistics Manager will be responsible for the full logistics function including coordinating the full order cycle, liaising and negotiating with suppliers, manufacturers and retailers, maintaining metrics, analyzing data, planning routes and processing shipments.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- B.Com Honours in Logistics Management or Supply Chain Management
- Minimum of 5 years Logistics Management experience
- Previous experience leading a large team (50 staff members)
