Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Logistics Coordinator to join a reputable mining operation near Rustenburg. This role is ideal for a proactive professional with experience in transport logistics, dispatch coordination, and stockpile management within the mining or heavy industry sector.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Road Transport Logistics Management or related field
- 3-5 years in logistics/transport coordination, with 1-2 years in a mining environment (essential)
- Valid driver's license
- Certificate of Fitness
- Schedule and coordinate dispatch with transport contractors, ensuring efficient forward planning
- Manage stockpile and Run of Mine (ROM) logistics
- Oversee weighbridge operations, including calibration, reporting, and personnel supervision
- Ensure compliance with loading/unloading procedures and site safety protocols
- Monitor and maintain plant road conditions
