Logistics Coordinator

Job Description
Job Summary Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Good computer skills
- Coordinate ore dispatch via road and rail from mine to port.
- Manage vessel bookings, export documentation, and shipment tracking.
- Liaise with transporters, shipping agents, and port authorities.
- Familiarity with all incoterms.
- Knowledge of custom clearance, freight forwarding is positive.
- Support customs and export clearance processes.
- Monitor transport costs and performance.
- Communicate with production, sales, and finance to align logistics schedules.
- Liaise with customs brokers for export and import clearance processes.
- Ensure compliance with South African Revenue Service (SARS) regulations and trade requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date records of permits, export declarations, and compliance documentation.
- Support import logistics for equipment, spares, and consumables
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and suppliers for inbound shipments and customs clearance.
- Plan and manage dispatch of chrome ore from mine to port or customer using road and rail.
- Ensure correct loading, documentation, and scheduling of transport vehicles.
