Job Description
A well-established company in the electrical supply and distribution sector is looking to appoint a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator at their operations in Northriding, Randburg.This role is suited to a candidate who can take ownership of logistics processes and ensure the smooth movement of goods from suppliers to customers.Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor daily logistics and delivery operations.
- Liaise with suppliers, transport providers, and internal departments to manage order flow and timely deliveries.
- Track shipments, manage delivery schedules, and resolve any transportation issues.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and ensure proper documentation.
- Support the warehouse team with stock movement planning and distribution.
- Assist in cost control, route optimisation, and supplier performance management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and transport regulations.
- National Diploma or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a logistics coordination or supply chain role.
- Experience in the electrical industry is a strong advantage.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in MS Office and logistics tracking systems.
