Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join their Cape Town team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the end-to-end logistics process; from order dispatch and courier management to tracking, resolving delivery issues, and ensuring accurate data capture on our internal systems.
What you'll do

• Dispatched order tracking

• Upload and review data on Zoho system

• Manage courier queries and packages

• Resolve logistics issues related to damaged goods, delayed shipments, or incorrect deliveries

• Handle claims when required for courier issues

• Ensure delays are identified early and escalated

• Keep sales, customers and relevant parties informed of ETA and confirm deliveries

• Coordinate with couriers and ensure full and timely delivery

• Coordinate with warehouse urgent orders to be dispatched and logistic requirements from deployment department

• Manage ad hoc delivery request globally

• Manage returns within USA, course to warehouse

• Get quotes and schedule shipments, ensure collections are arranged and done, track and inform WHS

• Data capture (cost, dates, timelines) and check delivery reports are correct

• Process payment uploads for courier shipments

• Answer queries and update requirements

• Implement and support continuous improvements in the distribution process

• Other administrative functions that may arise

What you'll need

• NQF4 or higher

• Logistic certificate or higher

• Excel medium to high level

• System experience is a plus (SAP, Sage, Zoho for example)

• Willing to work flexible times

• Fluent and clear English
