Logistics Coordinator - BellvilleJob SummaryMinimum Requirements:Grade 12Tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Shipping, International Trade etc.Previous experience in freight forwarding / agriculture / logisticsExperience with Navis (preferred) Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for streamlining inbound & outbound freight, client & carrier communication,problem-solving, and order management within the company's container department.Assistance in the training of new recruits, recruitment of transporters and freight forwarders,and management of relationships through timely communication.Using various CRM systems to ensure secure transport of goods within the fruit &fast consumables industry.Daily administrative duties, including costing & development of CTOs.Successful management of stakeholders through concise relationship building, development of contingency plans, and development of strong relationships.Management of fleet & stakeholders with an average of 60 container loads a day.Using Microsoft Suite to store all load data and various other functions.Negotiate rates with transporters.Adding new transporters to our existing book and ensuring GIT insurance is in place.After-hours contact with all relevant parties, 7 days a week.Route planning and Management of all Collections and Deliveries.Take responsibility for loading of export produce PLEASE NOTE: Thank you for your interest in this position, we will review and be in touch if you are suitable.
