Our client is seeking a skilled Logistics Controller to join their team in Pinetown. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and managing daily logistical operations using OPSI, coordinating with drivers, customer service, production and sales teams to ensure efficient delivery and achievement of KPI targets.
Key tasks include preparing and executing daily and weekly load plans, tracking shipments, addressing route delays and queries and ensuring compliance with company standards.
The role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability and the capacity to adapt quickly when exceptions arise.
Applicants must have proven logistics planning experience, proficiency in Excel and logistics software, excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A degree or qualification in logistics will be beneficial.
