An exciting opportunity awaits a results-driven and detail-oriented Branch Manager in the logistics industry based in Rocky's Drift, Nelspruit. Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Branch Manager to oversee the operations of their Nelspruit branch. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in road freight and logistics, demonstrating leadership skills, strategic thinking and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities: * Operational Management:

• Oversee day-to-day branch operations, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of services.
• Coordinate and optimize the use of resources, including vehicles, personnel and equipment.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure and accident-free work environment.
• Team Leadership:

• Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of logistics professionals.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work culture, promoting teamwork and accountability.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Client Relations:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction with our services.
• Identify opportunities for business expansion and collaborate with the sales team to secure new clients.
• Address client concerns and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Financial Management:

• Develop and manage the branch budget, ensuring financial targets are met.
• Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate billing and invoicing processes.
• Compliance and Quality Assurance:

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
• Implement quality assurance processes to maintain high service standards.
• Conduct regular audits to assess and improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Grade 12 / Matric Qualification non-negotiable.
• Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Logistics, or a related field an advantage.
• Proven experience in road freight and logistics management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry best practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Remuneration:

• R40 000.00 CTC per month - Depending on experience
