An established agricultural trading organisation based in Stellenbosch is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Logistics Administrator to support its logistics function. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong administrative skills, and can effectively coordinate with transporters, clients, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Daily logistics administration, including capturing load data into internal systems.
Reconciliation of PODs and loading weights as requested by the logistics team.
Managing and maintaining the transporter database.
Handling client, transporter, and supplier-related queries.
Registering transporters and ensuring GIT insurance is in place.
Managing and maintaining the GIT database.
Collecting, tracking, and filing PODs.
Providing general administrative and logistical support to the team.
Maintaining clear and professional communication with all counterparties.
Requirements
Relevant diploma or degree (advantageous).
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar logistics or administrative role.
Strong planning, organisational, and time management skills.
Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure.
Excellent communication skills, with strong email etiquette and writing ability.
Proficiency in MS Outlook and general computer systems.
High attention to detail and good analytical ability.
Strong customer service mindset.
Ability to work well within a team environment.
