Job Description


Key Responsibilities

Responsible for stock movement from outsourced warehouse to customers.

Overseeing of all current stock orders before capturing on Microsoft NAV system.

Maintaining a daily account on hold list of current customers with available credit.

Responsible for capturing all current stock orders.

Responsible for capturing and invoicing marketing orders.

Assist other brand administrator with invoicing, ordering, and sending of tickets, arranging bookings and preparing Free Stock and Blocked Order reports.

Supply Chain Management: Understanding the entire supply chain process, from procurement to delivery, and being able to optimize and streamline the flow of goods.

Inventory Management: Efficiently managing inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing holding costs and ensuring product availability.

Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication is vital, as logistics administrators need to coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate information flow.

Problem Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues that may arise in the supply chain, such as delays, shortages, or other disruptions.

Attention to Detail: Precision and accuracy are crucial in logistics to avoid errors that could lead to costly mistakes in inventory, shipping, or order fulfillment.

Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with logistics management software, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, and other relevant technologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy in tracking and managing logistics operations.

Negotiation Skills: Engaging in negotiations with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders to secure favorable terms and conditions.

Time Management: Prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines and ensure timely delivery of goods.

Analytical Skills: Using data and analytics to identify trends, forecast demand, and make informed decisions that improve the overall efficiency of logistics operations.

Customer Service Orientation: Understanding and meeting customer expectations, ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately and delivered on time.

Regulatory Compliance: Staying informed about and ensuring compliance with local and international regulations governing transportation, import/export, and other logistics-related activities.

Adaptability: The ability to adapt to changes in demand, supply chain disruptions, and other unforeseen circumstances.

Cost Management: Keeping a keen eye on costs associated with logistics operations and finding ways to optimize spending while maintaining service levels.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working collaboratively with other departments such as procurement, sales, and customer service to align logistics activities with overall business objectives.

Matric

Diploma or equivalent in logistics field

Proven experience in stock administration or related roles

Familiarity with inventory management software and tools

Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Good communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Advanced- Intermediate Excel skills
