Job Description
Join our dynamic warehouse and storage team as a Logger Operator! We're looking for a skilled and safety-conscious individual to operate and maintain heavy-duty logging equipment in our busy warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate logger grabber machinery to load, offload, move, and stack logs or timber products safely and efficiently. Handle cargo with precision to avoid damage to goods, equipment, or infrastructure. Perform daily machine inspections, routine maintenance checks, and immediately report any mechanical faults or safety concerns. Ensure loads are correctly secured and balanced before movement. Work closely with yard supervisors, tally clerks, and inventory staff to ensure correct placement and recording of goods. Follow instructions for stock movements, including loading trucks, offloading containers, and stacking in designated areas. Maintain clear and safe working areas around machinery and comply with occupational health, safety, and environmental standards. Assist in general warehouse duties when not operating equipment, supporting overall operational efficiency. Adhere to company policies, shift schedules, and operational deadlines.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Logger Operator.
Valid operator license/certification.
Strong awareness of warehouse safety and equipment handling procedures.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
