Core criteria:

  • Matric, and a relevant hospitality tertiary qualification
  • Minimum of 3-5years of experience within a luxury 5* property in a similar role
  • The ability to manage all aspects of lodge operations, including staff management, inventory control, and maintenance
  • Excellent financial acumen with proven experience in budgeting, cost control, and achieving profitability
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • The ability to lead and mentor a team of staff
  • Excellent hosting skills and the ability to interact with guests and stakeholders
  • Conservation-oriented and a genuine love for the bush and nature
  • Comfortable living in an off-grid and remote environment
