Lodge Manager - Luxury Safari Lodge - Hoedspruit Limpopo
Our client, a growing luxury safari lodge located approximately 10km north of Hoedspruit in Limpopo, is seeking an experienced and hands-on Lodge Manager to lead operations during an exciting expansion phase. With a second lodge due to open, this role is ideal for a strong hospitality leader who enjoys building systems, developing teams, and delivering exceptional guest experiences in a safari lodge environment.
This is a live-in position operating on a 3 weeks on / 1 week off roster, offering excellent exposure within a growing luxury lodge group.
Salary: R28 000 - R30 000 per month

Description
The Lodge Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the lodge, ensuring seamless daily operations across all departments including front of house, housekeeping, food & beverage, guiding, and maintenance. You will oversee guest experience standards, manage budgets and stock controls, and ensure all operational procedures and service levels are consistently met.
A key focus of this role will be implementing and refining operational processes, developing training programmes, and mentoring staff as the lodge continues to grow. You will work closely with ownership and senior management, providing regular operational feedback and contributing to long-term planning.
Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Lodge Manager or Assistant Lodge Manager
• Proven experience within luxury safari lodges or high-end hospitality
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Experience with staff training, SOP implementation, and team development
• Financial understanding including stock control and cost management
• Valid driver's licence
