Description
As the Lodge Manager, you will be responsible for the seamless operation of the villa, ensuring guests receive a warm, professional, and personalized experience. You will oversee all departments, including food and beverage, housekeeping, and garden services, while maintaining the highest hospitality standards. Additionally, you will manage budgets, stock control, and administrative functions, while leading and inspiring your team to excel in their roles.
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all lodge operations, including food, beverage, housekeeping, and gardens, to ensure a world-class guest experience.
• Deliver exceptional guest engagement, providing a warm and professional atmosphere for high-end clientele, including families and multi-generational groups.
• Lead and mentor a dedicated team, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
• Manage all administrative functions, including budgeting, ordering, and stock control.
• Collaborate with the wider lodge management team, assisting at other lodges when the villa is unoccupied.
• Maintain and enforce the highest hospitality standards, aligned with the reserve's Best Operating Practices.
• Uphold and embody the client's core values in all aspects of daily operations.

Minimum Requirements

• A dynamic, positive, and energetic approach to hospitality management.
• Strong commitment to guest experience, with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a diverse team, including HR experience.
• Proficiency in Windows Office (especially Excel), ResRequest, and SAGE.
• Sound knowledge of housekeeping operations and high-end lodge management.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work long hours when required.
• Willingness to work on a rotational schedule (6 weeks on, 2 weeks off, subject to operational requirements).
• Excellent food and beverage knowledge - this is essential.
• Hospitality Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Fluent in English, with strong communication and hosting abilities.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a 5-star luxury lodge or international hotel setting.

• Job Type: Full-time, live-in position
• Rotation Schedule: 6 weeks on, 2 weeks off (as per operational needs)
