Key Responsibilities:
Efficiently oversee all lodge operations, including guest services, staff management, inventory control, and property maintenance.
Ensure the highest standards of service, safety, and hospitality are upheld at all times.
Manage budgets, control costs, and ensure profitability while maintaining luxury standards.
Lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive and professional work environment.
Engage with guests to deliver personalised experiences and handle any special requests or concerns.
Actively integrate the lodge's conservation efforts into guest experiences and daily operations.
Requirements:
Proven experience in senior hospitality or lodge management roles, ideally in a private game reserve or eco-tourism setting.
Strong operational expertise with the ability to manage all facets of lodge operations.
Financial acumen, including experience with budgeting and achieving profitability.
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to effectively manage a team, guests, and external stakeholders.
A genuine passion for wildlife, conservation, and eco-tourism.
