Key Responsibilities

Oversee all financial operations including recordkeeping, financial reporting, audits, and compliance standards

Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and manage budgets
/p

Analyze variances, costs, and revenue trends to advise senior management
/p
/li
li
p
Ensure tax, audit, and regulatory compliance
/p

Collaborate across departments to embed financial discipline and fiscal strategy

p
Support strategic initiatives linked to sustainability and luxury operations, in line with hospitality industry best practices

Minimum Requirements

Matric certificate essential; Finance or Accounting tertiary qualification highly preferred

4+ years in a senior finance role within luxury hospitality-at a lodge or safari camp environment
/p

Expertise in budgeting, reporting, tax, audit, and financial analytics
/p
/li
li
p
Strong leadership, financial literacy, and communication skills (able to explain complex financials clearly)

/li
li
p
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency; familiarity with accounting systems such as Sage, Opera, or similar is advantageous
/p

Willingness to reside on-site for seamless integration into lodge operations
/p
