Job Summary Lodge Anchor - Kraal Luxury Lodge Boutique 5-star lodge in the North West situated between Parys and Potchefstroom is looking for a Lodge Anchor. The individual will be responsible for guest relations, staff leadership, and overseeing lodge operations like housekeeping and maintenance . Key requirements include experience in a luxury or five-star environment, strong leadership and communication skills, financial and F&B knowledge, and exceptional attention to detail . You will be reporting to the general manager and owners. Key responsibilities Guest relations: Ensuring guest satisfaction, maintaining high service standards, and handling guest complaints. Staff management: Training, supervising, and developing junior staff; establishing and maintaining performance standards. Operations: Assisting with or overseeing housekeeping, maintenance, and financial administration, including stock control. Financial management: Controlling expenses and maximizing profits. Coordination: Liaising with various departments, contractors, and staff. Essential qualifications and skills Experience: At least two years in a five-star hotel or world-class lodge, ideally in a supervisory or management role. Communication: Exceptional English is essential, with a second language being a strong advantage. Technical skills: Good computer literacy, with experience using hospitality software, SEMPERPMS being a plus. Knowledge: Strong food and beverage knowledge and an understanding of housekeeping, maintenance, and financial procedures. Other: Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, assertiveness, and patience are critical. Logistics: A valid South African driver's license, having PDP being an advantage.
