Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Locum Nurse to provide support during the festive season. This short-term position offers flexibility and a welcoming team environment.
Dates:
Start: Either Tuesday, 10th December or Monday, 16th December (depending on whether the successful candidate prefers to enjoy their long weekend first).
End: Friday 9th January.
Hours:
No out-of-hours required.
Just an 8-hour day shift - with flexibility on start and finish times for the right candidate.
This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who enjoys variety, values work-life balance, and is available to step in and assist over the holiday period.

Description
- Assist veterinarians in providing high-quality care to small animals
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by veterinarians
- Perform laboratory tests, diagnostic procedures, and imaging techniques
- Monitor patients during surgeries and recovery
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and medication administration
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Dip/Degree in Veterinary Nursing
- SAVC Registration
- Updated CPD Points
- Excellent Communication Skills, Verbal and Written
- Relationship Building Abilities AND A LOVE FOR ANIMALS
- Sales Skills will be an advantage
- Valid Driver's License
- Fluent in Afrikaans & English
