Roles and Responsibilities:
Loan Origination:
Create an application folder on Server;
Save documents in the folder
Perform feasibility assessments:
Deeds Office search (Lightstone Reports)
Loan to value calculations (Municipal valuation)
Complete pre-approval documents review as per the checklist;
Draft proposal and save on the server;
Project Funding;
Funding Costing model calculations
Levy Funding;
Assess Debtors Age Analysis;
Determine facility;
Send proposal and pre-approval checklist to the Sales Representative;
Follow the Credit committee protocol;
Loan application review
Amortisation/Repayment schedules
Credit Matrix
Affordability Assessments
Loan Management:
Create New Loan statements
Update the Monthly Summary Report
Capture daily bank transactions on the Loans Summary Report and Loan statements
Update Debit order reports
Update the Term Loan Monitoring, Non-Performing Loans and Collections Reports
Monitor loans (ongoing);
Assist with general queries from Sales representatives and Managing Agents;
Assist the legal team with amending loan statements according to legal requirements.
Portal Management:
Create Community Scheme for Levy Funding loans;
Upload the valuation documents on Google Drive;
Update the loan assets spreadsheets with new loans for the reporting quarter;
Upload monthly loan statements quarterly;
Periodically check all Body Corporates;
Source missing documents where required;
General:
Filing of all documentation;
Continuously ensure that documents saved to the Server are done under correct format.
Update Term loan repayment/amortisation schedules
Update mailing lists;
Create Payment instructions
Assist with ad-hoc requests and queries

Full MS Office suite at intermediate level with advanced Excel an advantage
Analytical
Knowledge of accounting systems/programs (desirable);
BCom or BCOMPT finance or equivalent qualification in a finance field.
Minimum 3 years working within a banking or financial environment.
Experience with amortized cost, fair valuations, impairments and discounted cash flows;
Experience with creditors, cashbook, and general ledger reconciliations.
