The Load Master will be responsible for daily supervision of entire Warehousing and Distribution functions on site.
Qualification Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric with Maths.
- At least 2-3 years previous experience in Logistics / Warehouse department
- FMCG environment
- Computer literate
- Supervision of all warehousing and distribution functions.
- Invoicing transfers financial records and GRVs.
- Maintain all relevant documentation, check lists and registers daily.
- Supervision of all loading.
- Stock Management.
- Supervision and maintenance of warehouse equipment.
- Ensuring compliance to Health and Safety regulations and transport standards.
- Assist with investigation of stock and pallet variances.
- Coordinate with drivers and transportation teams for efficient operations.
- Ensure products are properly secured to prevent damage to prevent damage during transit, calculate weight and balance.
- Managing CHEP pallet accounts
- Availability for excessive working hours, including weekends and shifts, as required by the role.
- Ability to work in a pressurized environment.
- Own transportation to commute to work locations or travel as necessary.
