About the Role
We're looking for a high-energy Sales Representative to grow our Lighting Division across commercial, industrial, and retail project channels. You'll drive
project-based sales and specification
, build relationships with
architects, electrical consultants, contractors, shopfitters and developers
, and close opportunities for
LED luminaires, controls, emergency lighting and retrofit upgrades
. With South Africa's rapid adoption of energy-efficient and smart LED solutions, this is a high-impact role in a market that's expanding at a double?digit rate.
This role comes with the potential for growth into a sales management position.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Identify, qualify, and develop lighting opportunities in
commercial, industrial, retail, logistics and municipal
segments.
Specification & Solution Selling
Engage early with
architects, developers, electrical consultants, and contractors
to get our products specified; prepare compliant proposals, photometric data packs, and bills of quantities.
Standards & Compliance
Ensure proposals meet SA standards (e.g.,
SANS 10114 series for interior/emergency lighting
, and luminaires requirements per
SANS 60598
); align with building regulations and OH&S best practice.
Account & Territory Management
Maintain strategic accounts and distributors/electrical wholesalers; execute regional call cycles and
