Job Summary A position exists for a Lifestyle and fundraising Coordinator. Experience - Interest in creative programs aimed at the older person - Marketing and fund-raising knowledge and experience Competencies - Design and implement activities to address the social, emotional, physical and spiritual needs of the older person with specific emphasis on person centred care. - Arranging of events, outings, exercise programs, arts & crafts etc. - Must have passion for older people. Should be creative and a problem solver. - Able to promote organisation and raise funds / liaise with donors. - Must be fluent in Afrikaans and English. Attitude - Ideal for a self-starter with emotional intelligence. - Patient but energetic, service oriented, and stakeholder focused. - A willingness to learn and develop skills is required. Positive, proactive, and empathetic interactions with residents are required, as well as exceptional leadership abilities. - Must be effective at planning, coordinating, and carrying out plans. Must be extremely organised and have excellent time management abilities. Other - Must have own reliable transport - 5 years' experience
