We are seeking a true Klaviyo expert who can single-handedly manage and optimize our entire retention marketing ecosystem. This is not an entry-level role - we need someone who has mastered the art and science of email marketing automation and can implement sophisticated strategies that drive substantial revenue growth. You should be the type of person other marketers come to for Klaviyo advice.
Key Responsibilities
Advanced Klaviyo Mastery
Architect and execute complex automation flows that maximize customer lifetime value across multiple touch points
Build sophisticated segmentation strategies using behavioral data, purchase patterns, RFM analysis, and predictive analytics
Create dynamic content systems that personalize experiences at scale based on customer preferences and behavior
Implement advanced triggered campaigns with complex conditional logic and multi-branch flows
Optimize deliverability, sender reputation, and inbox placement through technical best practices
Strategic Retention Architecture
Develop comprehensive retention strategies that increase repeat purchase rates and customer lifetime value
Design and execute win-back campaigns, VIP programs, and loyalty-driven automation sequences
Create customer journey mapping and lifecycle optimization programs
Build predictive segments for churn prevention and revenue recovery
Implement cross-sell and up-sell strategies through intelligent product recommendation systems
Performance Analytics & Revenue Attribution
Master advanced Klaviyo analytics including cohort analysis, revenue attribution, and incrementality measurement
Create custom reporting dashboards and KPI tracking systems for retention metrics
Conduct deep-dive analysis on campaign performance, customer behavior patterns, and revenue opportunities
Implement robust A/B testing frameworks for continuous optimization across all campaigns
Track and optimize key metrics: CLV, repeat purchase rate, email-attributed revenue, and retention cohorts
Technical Expertise & Platform Optimization
Manage complex integrations between Klaviyo and other marketing tools/platforms
Optimize database management, list hygiene, and subscriber lifecycle automation
Implement advanced personalization using Klaviyo's dynamic content and API capabilities
Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize platform performance for maximum efficiency
Stay current with Klaviyo feature updates and implement cutting-edge functionality
Requirements:
5+ years of email marketing experience with minimum 3 years as a Klaviyo power user
Proven expert-level Klaviyo knowledge - you should know the platform inside and out
Track record of significant revenue growth through retention marketing programs ($500K+ email-attributed revenue experience)
Advanced analytical skills with ability to derive actionable insights from complex data sets
Deep understanding of customer lifecycle marketing and retention psychology
Experience managing 6-figure+ email marketing budgets and high-volume sending
Strategic thinking abilities to develop comprehensive retention marketing roadmaps
Technical proficiency with integrations, APIs, and advanced platform features
Expert-level segmentation skills using behavioral data and predictive modeling
Expert-Level Requirements
Experience with advanced Klaviyo features: predictive analytics, dynamic content, API integrations
Proven ability to achieve industry-leading email metrics (25%+ open rates, 4%+ click rates, high deliverability)
Deep expertise in beauty/cosmetics email marketing strategies and customer behavior
Experience with complex multi-channel retention campaigns
Knowledge of email deliverability optimization and sender reputation management
* Ability to train and mentor other team members on Klaviyo best practices
