Job Description
Job Summary
- Deliver high-quality actuarial consulting services to life insurance clients.
- Support senior colleagues in building and maintaining client relationships, including contributing to proposals and business development initiatives.
- Lead and manage multiple projects or workstreams, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.
- Stay abreast of regulatory and industry developments (e.g., Solvency II, IFRS 17) and integrate this knowledge into client solutions.
- Contribute to intellectual capital development and thought leadership within the business.
- Education: Qualified Life Actuary (Fellow or equivalent).
- Experience: Proven experience in the life insurance industry in either consulting or (re)insurance roles.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Capital/Solvency II and IFRS 17.
- Experience in financial modelling and risk management techniques.
- Strong project leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience in pricing desirable but not essential.
- Other:
- Proven ability to lead small project teams (2-3 people).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively on client engagements.
- Flexibility to travel and work on client sites as required.
- Familiarity with a broad range of insurance products (with-profits knowledge desirable).
