Deliver high-quality actuarial consulting services to life insurance clients.
Support senior colleagues in building and maintaining client relationships, including contributing to proposals and business development initiatives.
Lead and manage multiple projects or workstreams, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.
Stay abreast of regulatory and industry developments (e.g., Solvency II, IFRS 17) and integrate this knowledge into client solutions.
Contribute to intellectual capital development and thought leadership within the business.
Education: Qualified Life Actuary (Fellow or equivalent).
Experience: Proven experience in the life insurance industry in either consulting or (re)insurance roles.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of Capital/Solvency II and IFRS 17.
Experience in financial modelling and risk management techniques.
Strong project leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience in pricing desirable but not essential.
Other:
Proven ability to lead small project teams (2-3 people).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently or collaboratively on client engagements.
Flexibility to travel and work on client sites as required.
Familiarity with a broad range of insurance products (with-profits knowledge desirable).
