Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Document Management:

  • Preparing, processing, proofreading, and filing legal documents like deeds, wills, and affidavits.
Administrative Support:
  • Scheduling meetings, answering phones, welcoming visitors, and performing general office duties.
Communication:
  • Corresponding with clients, witnesses, court officials, and other staff members.
Case Management:
  • Organizing and maintaining case files, documents, and law libraries.
Office Operations:
  • Assisting with budgets, managing expenditures, and potentially supervising other office staff.
Required Skills & Qualities
  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in word processing and other relevant office software.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including familiarity with legal terminology.
  • Detail-Oriented: A strong eye for detail is crucial for accuracy in legal documents.
