About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Officer to join their team on a full-time, on-site basis. The Legal Officer will play a key role in providing legal consulting services, preparing and reviewing legal documents, ensuring compliance with business and regulatory requirements, and managing contract law matters. This position involves working on a wide range of legal issues, including negotiating and drafting contracts, as well as offering practical legal advice to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide expert legal advice and support across a range of business areas. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents. Ensure compliance with applicable business laws and regulations. Identify legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams. Manage multiple tasks effectively and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Law or related field required; advanced degree preferred. Strong background in Business Law and Contract Law. Proven experience in legal consulting and legal document preparation. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Experience in the financial services sector is advantageous. Admission as an attorney or advocate preferred.

SALARY IS MARKET RELATED AND COMMENSURATE BASED ON EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
