Duties and Responsibilities: An Intern will participate in the following activities under supervision:
Providing legal advice / research as required by the Agency.
Provide secretarial support to the Unit, managers and staff
Provide support to the Agency regarding court processes, litigation and general legal support.
Develop policies and procedures relevant for the effective functioning of the unit.
Vet and draft contracts and MoU's .
Provide support to the section 30 prosecutions.
Provide secretarial support for various meetings of the unit
Handle stakeholder management issues
Perform any other functions that may be assigned.
Qualifications:
LLB
Competencies:
Legal writing skills
Computer skills (Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Must be a South African Citizen.
Strong verbal and written communications skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
Attention to details.
Can maintain confidentiality.
