DBN000201 - Legal, Governance & Company Secretarial Advisor
Purpose of the Job:
To ensure that the legal aspects of decisions, actions & policies are compliant with relevant laws & regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- Registered Attorney with 5 years related experience OR relevant experience
- Governance Knowledge and Skills
- Environmental exposure/experience
- Company Secretarial Experience, a must
- Advise on corporate governance practices, including policy development, risk management, and ethical conduct
- Maintain operational integrity within the company's framework
- Work closely with the executive and management teams to implement necessary changes.
- Plan and coordinate transverse legal services.
- Provide sound legal advice to the Companies management
- Analyse information on all legal matters
- Coordinate legal action that may require external legal assistance
- Utilise negotiation and communication skills, risk, financial & legal expertise in the management of the client relationships.
- Compliance and legal projects management
- Legal advice and documentation reviews
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and accountability.
- Adaptable and able to perform under pressure.
- Deadline driven
