PURPOSE OF THE POSITION AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The purpose of this position is to provide Members with professional telephonic legal advice and assistance. Must be able to offer paralegal solutions to common problems within the Company's set parameters and the Membership Agreement. Must be able to provide legal advice to Members on general matters including non- complex labour, civil, criminal, and administrative disputes in a Call Centre environment.
Call attendance
Provide telephonic legal advice and assistance to Members
Paralegal Claims Handling
Administration of claims according to prescribed procedures and resolution of legal claims
General Administration
Attend to general administrative tasks associated with legal matters
Providing Feedback to clients
Ensuring that clients receive regular updates and feedback
MINIMUM CRITERIA AND PRE-REQUISITE COMPETENCIES
Education
Matric and LLB Degree
Experience
At least 2 years' experience in a legal environment.
