With a focus on customer service and long-term growth, they provide tenant screening, rent collection, property maintenance, and investment opportunities. Known for professionalism and expertise, they deliver innovative solutions to the dynamic real estate industry.Role Responsibilities:Providing expert legal advice and guidance on property-related matters, as well as advice on various policies (social media, POPI Act, HR etc.).Reviewing and drafting legal documents, such as contracts, leases, and agreements, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Advising internal stakeholders on legal risks, rights, and obligations.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure legal compliance and address any legal issues that may arise.Assessing potential legal risks associated with property transactions and proposing risk mitigation strategies.Representing the organisation in negotiations, mediations, and other legal proceedings related to property matters.Staying informed about changes in property laws and regulations and providing updates and training to internal teams as needed.Conducting legal research to stay updated on relevant property laws, regulations, and industry practices.Collaborating with external legal counsel when required, managing the relationship and ensuring effective communication and coordination.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor of Laws Degree or other relevant qualification.Relevant Skills / Experience:Prior experience as a Legal Consultant, Real Estate Attorney or similar position.Deep understanding of property laws, regulations, and industry practices.Strong research and analytical skills to interpret and apply complex legal principles to property-related issues.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.Attention to detail and the ability to review and draft legal documents accurately.Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills and an ability to think outside the box.PS Even if you feel you donxe2x80x99t have all the skills listed or if this spec isnxe2x80x99t what you are looking for, feel free to send your CV as we probably have other opportunities that could interest you.
